BO&MIE is first of all the story of a meeting on the benches of the School of Gastronomy FERRANDI : that of Magali and Jean-François – the two of us then students in the Bakery course for adults undergoing retraining – we decided to unite our efforts to create the Bakery that resembles us.
Former lawyer at the Hospitals of Paris, decided in 2015 to change her life to start baking and pastry. She then enrolled at the Ecole Ferrandi where she obtained her CAP Pâtisserie after having completed several internships in major Parisian houses including the Grande Épicerie de Paris. Bakery specialist, Magali will sign the entire range of breads at the opening of the 1st BO&MIE!
After having co-created the combat sports brand Venum (official equipment supplier of the UFC), Jean-François wanted to embark on a new challenge in keeping with his passion for gastronomy: launching his own brand of Bakery and Pastry 100% artisanal in France then abroad around strong values: 100% homemade, a creative, qualitative and accessible offer to the greatest number!
Opening of BO&MIE Turbigo on November 9, 2017 at 18 Rue de Turbigo in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris with a team of 5 employees: 1 pastry chef, 1 baker, 1 cook and 2 sales advisers with a 100% homemade offer of breads, pastries, pastries and snacks.
Opening of BO&MIE Saint Martin in July 2017 at 359 rue Saint Martin (75003) in place of a former textile wholesaler. The premises have been completely refurbished to accommodate a new production laboratory. BO&MIE then doubled its workforce (25 people).
Arrival of COVID. BO&MIE closes for 5 weeks in the spring.
Completion at the same time of the BO&MIE Rivoli project.
Opening of BO&MIE Rivoli in October 2020: it is the largest bakery in Paris located opposite the Louvre.
First steps abroad with the opening of BO&MIE Sagrada Familia in Barcelona just opposite Gaudi's masterpiece.
15 employees make all the BO&MIE recipes on site in a 100% artisanal way.
Opening of the 1st BO&MIE Rive Gauche in Paris at 5/7 boulevard Saint-Michel.
Launch of our first book: "BO&MIE, Creative Bakery"
